Kyle Banker is the VP of Developer Experience Engineering at Redis, where he leads Field Engineering, Applied AI Engineering, and Developer Relations. With deep expertise in databases, distributed systems, and stream processing, Kyle has spent nearly two decades helping teams build scalable, high-impact technology. Before Redis, he held leadership and engineering roles at several database companies and startups, including at MongoDB, where he was an early employee and the author of MongoDB in Action. A passionate educator, Kyle also spearheaded Redis University, created the Redis Developer Certification program, and has spoken at conferences worldwide.
